The Birth of LaBobbyiesha Pt. 2

Once in the car, Deb immediately put me on and did her best Myspace pose

Then, we went to Broadway by the Beach. Courtney had some happiness challenges to fulfill, and Deb and I happily participated!

The carnie had the nerve to say he thought I was this horses mane! Back off Redneck Rivieran! This is 100% African synthetic and I will cut yo ass!

The Birth of LaBobbyiesha

It was May 30, 2009. Courtney & Deb were going to Myrtle Beach to see Darius Rucker at the HOB. They had already decided they were going to buy a fierce weave to take with them on their travels, photographing her along with them. They had already decided on her name, LaBobbyiesha. Now all that was left was to buy her.

Deb spotted a sign from the road, The Wig Shop.

Ummmm, no. The place smelled like moth balls, plus they didn't sell weaves. That place had no soul!

But once we got into Myrtle Beach Proper, we knew exactly where to go!

You know there was an ass whoopin behind this one!

Here's another shot from Steve, and again it came from Charleston.
Seeing as how this weave is all tore to hell, you just know someone got they ass BEAT! That plus the fact that a 40 of Malt Liquor was found nearby. Now thats what this girl calls a party!

The first of many rogue weaves from North Charleston

This weave comes to us from North Charleston, right off Spruill Avenue, AKA Weave CENTRAL.

As you can see from the picture, this truly is a rogue weave. Its laying on the ground all by its lonesome. You don't know if she was yanked out during a throw down cat fight, sucked out the homemade sunroof of her baby daddys Impala, or dropped on the way to the trash can. But this is whats great about a rogue weave, you never know!

This entry is sure to be the first of many from my great friend Steve. I anticipate him to be such a devoted and ongoing contributor to The Rogue Weave that I would like to formally introduce him to you as our Freelance Photographer of choice.

Not the next rogue weave siting, but the next picture

This rogue weave shot came to me, Labobbyiesha, from my friend Renee in Atlanta. For some reason Deb is missing some pix because I know she has received several more pix between the first sighting and this one, but she didn't keep up with them. Trust THAT won't happen again, I checked her ass.

Back to what I was sayin, Renee sent this pic a while back, I'd say maybe 6 months ago? Probably some leftovers from a little too much New Years Eve 2008/09 partyin. As you can see its no so much a weave, but a wiglette, or maybe even a bunlette. But whateva you wanna call it, its definitely rogue.

How it all started...

Deb and her friend Renee were hanging out in Atlanta one night. They had been out on the town having a big time and were at the MARTA station waiting for a train. Lo and behold Deb looks down and the tracks and what does she spy?? A ROGUE WEAVE! She didn't know whether she should jump down on the tracks and save her or just snap a pic. Luckily Renee told her that she would certainly die were she to try to save the weave, so instead she took a pic, and immediately texted it to Courtney. At the time they didn't know what they were starting, but here were are a couple years later, composing the rogue weave blog, based on this one little picture!
